VZW-E, Thanks for your info. Can you corroborate Mr.Dude's release date of the week of the 9/24?

And I did more searching and found it out already, thanks.

Sorry -- I thought you were looking for the URL. I assumed you could have figured out what it was from the word "test" in the URL. My fault.

And Testman is back up now -- no new i760 on there unfortunately, at least for my neck of the woods.

I don't suppose that you can say what was the real reason for the apparent delay?

all he said was the delay was not because of appzone or crippling, not that it doesn't have them

The week of the 24th does make sense for a new smart phone release, since that will be 30 days after the Q9m hit. No worries about people trying to trade up.

The question is, will it be the i760 or the 6800 .... ?

And Verizon, where is your official fall line up?

Of course, really, anyone who purchased after about day 2 could upgrade. That's why I'm thinking about waiting a few days before buying the i760, just in case something else comes out on day 30 that I would prefer.

Who am I kidding, I am planning to order this on day 1. Enough waiting.

the 30 days could also stem from the fact that motorrolla has a 30 exclusive with verizon where they can't release any new models.

yeah, either way the 24th makes a lot of sense..

however because it makes sense will be the reason Verizon doesn't
