its common for all wireless companies to have droppedcalls. there's no perfect service even for the best. as long as data services are on point then i have no complaints.

I know...but I haven't had any droppedcalls in over a year, just no bars or choppy calls. And thats with both ATT and Sprint. Go figure...and by the way where is telephonics(or whatever{independent research for hire BS}) now, Hmm?

I got a voicemail from a buddy of mine earlier today about this. I was off today, so I didn't get the memo. I am actually glad to see it go though, maybe now customers can get off of my back about our "slogan."

Too long to keep up with
I work for an agent and just got the call saying an email went out yesterday telling everyone to take down anything with "Fewest Dropped Calls" on it. We still had our signs up when we opened today, but now they are all taken down. Oh well.
It's a marketing change. Because everyone is advertising that they have the fewest droppedcalls (except Verizon which uses the vague, but effective term "most reliable") it has diluted our marketing. So we're now going to advertise the fact that we have the largest voice & data network.
It's going from fewest droppedcalls to more bars in more places. All those AT&T signs we put up less than 2 months ago go out in the trash like the mixed AT&T/Cingular stuff put a few months earlier. Marking campaigns, like the seasons and AT&T's waste and bloat, come and go.
