I'm pretty much with you on everything, but I thought I would draw this one out a little.
This is a feature that many people would like to see, some sort of connections hierarchy for ease of use rather than continually being prompted for which connection to use. For example rules like "when in range of home network always connect using this connection".

Being that I am in and out of the S60 camp, there are just a few things that I could say I'd like to see:
From the N-series devices better attention the a coherant branding and marketing effort (4+ versions of the N95 sounds like the moto RAZR/Palm Treo all over again).
Threaded SMS.
OTA firmware installations.
A completely redesigned settings/programs UI. One that scales from simple to advanced without the feeling of getting lost throughout.
Touchscreen that doesn't need a styli.
From the E-series devices, a bigger push into corporate user's hands. Keep rolling with that M4E performance, and the very solid features in the E61i and E65 models.
Would be nice also to see a US-spec E90.
After that, I would say that Nokia should just take a device or two and just swing for the fences. A device that is about 3 or 4 years ahead of everything, and that is marketed just as it is. I would think that such a device would be the continuation of the shake up the iPhone has caused this year, but something that might keep Nokia as a phone brand who's growing into a services-brand in the majority consciousness.
Finally, give me a suitable replacement for my Treo 680 that is not one iota of compromise and you have yet another converted fan
Give me extra battery life, believe me nothing makes me more happier than my workhorse phone lasting for at least 2 days, not a measly 1 day battery life (currently on N95-3)
"Kentucky seeks to execute in a relatively humane manner and has worked hard to adopt such a procedure," Kentucky Attorney General Gregory Stumbo has said.

I've updated the blog to incorporate comments from here and elsewhere and I think that if the new list was achieved in concert with my initial list we'd be very, very happy campers in 2008.

I've gotta say, you've left out the one thing that a LOT of Hofers have been demanding here .... RESOLUTION.
Are you seriously suggesting that you think people are more concerned about tripod mounts than resolution ?

I really want two things the most:
1) AWS support - ATT 3G is meaningless to me as I refuse to swith to them
2) Improved mail client with HTML support - it is 21st Century after all and HTML is pretty much the e-mail format of choice (I'm amazed that Nokia and RIM didn't get that memo yet).

Happy New Year All...
If by HTML support you mean the ability to compose e-mail with HTML or rich text, I would welcome that too. The S60 e-mail client already supports the viewing of formatted letters.

Except that you have to know that you can read HTML e-mail by clicking on the "attachment" (which opens up the web browser). It would be nice if, like a certain other mobile phone released in 2007, the N95 would display HTML e-mails in HTML by default.

Each Nokia Smart Phone:
- 3G or better (3.5) for US & Europe! For most phones.
- the newest bluetooth technology of wireless transfer (in larger chunks of data)
- (I've seen it in hospitals) Check a persons tempeture without touching them... (very Star Trekie). Move the light around the forehead & face and checks inside body tempeture. Japanese health freaks would eat it right up!
- Use the newest technology for chips... to compact there phones (smaller, faster, smarter).
- AutoText option like the SideKicks.
- To have the option to place the Company to be surperior to the Person's Name, indicated by a check box. Like Apple's Address Book (phone and computers).
- GPS with Navigation Talk with language choices... Free!
- Smooth Touch Technology; the new KDDI phones in Japan have this feature... to scroll by touching your key pad (up, down, circle) good for websites.
- Pitch control added to the Equalizer. Like the obsolete Sonique Player (which I still use)
- the PS3 game, flOw on N-gage or downloadable whom ever has an accelometer.
- Keep voice record feature (up to an hour+ at a time), good for lectures. Like the N95.
- a little outlet that converts to a VGA out or a HD white plug, or whatever is behind the new LCD/Plasma Screens...
- no more pixels, use perfect vectors on text and icons.
- The front screen, that shows calendar event should show more than 1 upcoming event...
- When enter birthday's in the Address Book should coralate automaticly with the Calendar so you can actually know when their b-day is coming.

That was in the original list. . . its as much as priority for me as it is everyone else here...
I am astonished.. most of these request are actually (well, almost) realistic! Most times e.g. on Mobile-Review forum the requests are completely out of reach.
In fact, what would be more interesting would be if some people more in the know would comment on the likelihood of these things. E.g.:
- Tabbed navigation: the new multimedia menu on e..g N95 8GB goes to that direction; we also know from comments from Nokia (or was it S60?) executives that they are working on a more comprehensive update for at least N Series
- Threaded messaging: there is already a beta app available - likely to come at least as an installable extra app
- Higher def screans: not sure.. perhas towards the end of the year and/or with the first touch screen launch
