Video Capability on Sidekick LX

I just thought this was interesting. While downloading the new sdk (software development kit) (4.4 OS), I was trying to fix another problem and came across this. There is an api for video that was not included on production devices. It is quite possible that the sidekick lx will have an update for video, because the apis are there. I can't test them out because their sdk won't allow you to build anything with these apis. But I can definitely say that the sidekick lx has the ability to play video, all of the classes and sub classes are there. Someone must have forgotten to "clean" this file out and released this package thinking no one would see it! Below is what the file looks like. It's located under the \hiptop-sdk\libs\4.4\179450\libmidp , titled "export". You can download it, and take a look for yourself.

Is that capabality in the phone because of the scrolling screen saver option? That's the closest thing to video that the phone is actually set to do.
