"Witness the next wave of HTC Innovation"
Anyone got any ideas what it will be? Personally, I'm hoping it will be the successor to the Touch. They've proven to be pretty good at early summer releases. (...Touch) http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/...t-does-it-mean/

yeah, slashdot/slashgear/crunchgear/gizmodo/engadget have all noted that it's most likely the first android-based phone. i just hope they give it a bit more love than they have the touch phones
Could it be that diagonal slider they patented a while back?
companies patent things all the time, it doesn't necessarily mean they are going to use their "inventions". it just means that, "hey we patented it, now if someone wants to use it, they either have to pay us or we can sue the person/entity that tries to use it".
in this case, i doubt it. it's probably a new android handset.
make sense?

Well aware of the way companies work with patents, just throwing the idea out there. I'd be surprised if they were announcing an Android device so soon, the announcement of the platform was only a few months ago, wasn't it?

Man, I am excited for this US 3G Touch Dual, so hopefully they are going to release something else that has US 3G. If they dropped a US 3G Touch Enhanced, I probably would grab that over the Touch Dual.
I really have been happy with this Atom Life, but I would jump o n a HTC phone that runs 850 Mhz and tri band HSDPA.
