I think this working is heavily going to depend on what model bb you have and what version OS you are running.

Youtube works just fine on blackberrys with 4.3. You should really do some research before giving a completely false answer.

Does any vid go to full screen for you?
If so, try bluapplemobi, searches youtube and others, may or may not stream full screen, but one of the options is to d/l high quality, loads fast, plays well..

Your BB is just fine. The youtube videos are formatted to that specific size to be played on your BB by youtube.
Currently there is no
Way to expand them.

Hm, anyone have any luck running youtube on an 8310? Youtube loads but doesn't let me play videos, just shows thumbnails of the videos that you can't click.

I am running 4.2, but I have a Mac, so I don't know how to go about upgrading my OS. I'm assuming I need a Windows platform to do that? Frustrating. lol

I heard 4.5 is stable now, is that completely true? If so I'll try and get to a windows pc, unless someone knows a workaround for upgrading the firmware on a mac.

Question

I can not even get blueapple.mobi to work on my Verizon Pearl. Just like mobile youtube, when I choose a video it gives me an error, "a problem occured while trying to render the page"

Do I need to change a setting in the phone?

You probably need to upgrade the os to 4.3. I had to before I had any luck.
