Thumbs up Six Free BlackBerry Apps

A while back I posted a forum entry on an article that offered up six cool, and perhaps more importantly FREE, BlackBerry apps.

Here's a follow up to that article with another half-dozen free apps, including voice search programs and an app to install and updates, as well as provide icons for, all of Google's mobile services.

I'm also a big Twitter fan, and I think the mobile Twitter client in the article might be better than the one I've currently got.

Check it out. And this link will work if you're using a BlackBerry browser.

What is your favorite third-party app for BlackBerry?

Weather Bug

Weather Bug is an option, too, but it's not free. You can get a free trial for a month or so, though, I think.

Yeah, Tellme is cool, but it only works on a very select few BlackBerrys. Yahoo oneSearch Voice offer very similar functionality, and it works on more devices.

Great recommendation on WeatherEye . Just downloaded it and it's much better than BBWeather.

WeatherEye is a great program

I've been using it for few days now, its flawless!

Much much better than BB's push weather and BBWeather

Its fast, its home-icon update hourly, its fast and smooth

Does weathereye have a decent list of US cities now?

From looking around the web it appears that weathereye was designed for and/or developed in Canada and the original US city list was a little sparse. Just looking for some additional information.

If it matters, I live outside Dallas.
