The Official LG Dare Review Thread

Just thought I would create this in the meantime. For when people get the Dare, please post your mini-review here. Pics and comparison shots as well as videos are welcome.
Thanks all.

---------------------
Edit by FAUguy:

Use this thread for posting your own reviews of the Dare, or link to reviews done by other web sites and post your comments.

--------------------

There has been a lot of clutter in this thread that the Mods have to keep deleting.

This thread is for posting your own review of the Dare, things you like or dislike about it, and posting links to reviews on other sites.

This is is NOT for asking about calling plans, mobile web, E-Mail, etc.

Just proof that the calling thing does work.

Picture of headphone jack (the thing comes off)

And lastly the height

Looks about to be 15mm in depth.
Feels pretty light in my hands, heavier than my previous A990 which I used to take pictures of it.

Unfortunately it's still charging so I haven't used it yet and I have work. But I know there are about 500 other people that ordered the LG Dare and are getting it today. Hopefully they all post in this review section.

None of those videos show them even trying to use browser features that the Interactive Guide shows it has, like zooming, for instance

That was my thought as well - they didn't tell us what they didn't like about it.

From Engadget

"We also had trouble with the QWERTY keypad despite the abundant horizontal real estate the Dare commits to it. We got better as we became accustomed to tapping with our fingernails (thumb presses don't work, it's not a capacitive touch screen)."

http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/25/lg-dare-hands-on/

For those who get it today, please comment on that. Thanks
