I would make sure that it is a san disk because the N95 is a little touchy about not working well with non san disk cards and some have been known not to work!!!

isn't the Class 2 speed painfully slow? how long does it take you to refresh say, a couple gigs of tuneage or videos?

^ whoa! are you talking about HOURS just to refresh a couple of gigs?
Just plunked the 16GB card into my N95-3 today and it's great. I did a straight copy of my 8GB card (of which 6GB was used) directly to the new card in about 10 minutes. Aside from having to refresh my music library and re-do Garmin (new card = new device ID = nothing from before worked) the only other thing I notice is that I have nearly 10GB of space left!
One more reason I'm happy to have not waited around for the -4!!
I would NOT buy it man. That thing being a Class 2 is just REDICULOUS. I was so excited to hear about its release, just to find it was a class 2, then changed everything. I thought I would be one of the 1st to get, now I am going to be the last to get one if I do, I would need a lot of convincing to get a Class 2 16gb card.
Thant is simply just NOT enough speed for a 16gb card. I upload music on my phone on a DAILY basis. Are people telling me that I would have to prepare and put aside some SERIOUS time just to add a couple of mp3s to my phone?
If I were you I would get an 8gb for now if you don't have one, as their prices have dropped dramaticaly, and await for the release of at least a Class 4.
