A Challenger Approaches! (Face the Task)
Everybody else was posting about the event with new threads and I will not be an exception!!!
My blog post and Ovi channel are now live for the N96 challenges with Nokia viNe!
Like the rest, I'm completing challenges in a competition to win 5 N96 trials to give out in whatever fashion I'd like. To do things a bit differently, I thought I would include everyone here in the contest (since no one visits my blog )
I'm asking for ideas for pictures to take with the N96 with my ninja costume. They don't have to be part of the challenges at all, but I'd like to see what people think would be fun and interesting to do in a ninja costume with a really expensive phone.
Here I am trying to figure out how the hell you're supposed to use the new touch controls on the new guitar for GH:WT.
Post here, leave comments, PM me, whatever you want to do. The top 5 ideas I get will be the ones who get to trial the N96 (if I win). Easy enough, right?

So far, no good on Nokia viNe. I've had to separate my single journey into 4 because the app crashing and I've lost a lot of tagging opportunities because I didn't know it had closed. Could be the underperforming N96 though.
go find some iphone users, jump in front of them, take out ur N96 like a ninja star and start doing some crazy stuff with it in front of them and be like: can your iphone do this?
lol.

I wouldn't want to get into a pissing contest with an iPhone user when I'm using the N96. The slow menus would be just embarrassing. It's kinda cool that I have 24gb's of storage space with me though.

go "trick or treating" in your new ninja costume and use the light saber app as you go around the neighborhoods. the kids will think your the coolest ever!

you could get a bunch of iphone users to stand around staring at your n96 (doesnt need to be doing anything) with their iphones (clearly visible) in hand looking mezmorized at at the n96 in all its glory.
This is a bit farfetched but....
-If the camera can be activated while using the kickstand, you could prop it up at the edge of a desk or surface, and frame the shot so the phone takes up the whole thing, and in the viewfinder you could be hanging upside down or something else ninja-y

eghhh sounds like a pain? Is it a beta release of Vine?

I really, REALLY hope so. It's one of three things:
1) The application being naturally slow and painful.
2) The N96 being naturally slow and painful, causing viNe to be.
3) Or the phone desperately needing a hard reset. The only reason I haven't done this is because I'm afraid viNe was installed prior to it being sent to me and I'll lose it.

Hmmm. I may have just really screwed up this competition. I went ahead and formatted the device in an attempt to speed things up a bit. Looks like viNe wasn't part of the firmware after all. (!)
I'm going to explore some options to see if I can't recover it, but I'd appreciate some guidance if anyone else in the competition ran into this issue?
