Talking I have my N97!

guess what?

I picked up my N97 at the NYC Nokia store today!

N97 (how do I display images?)

So far, I like the soft feel of the QWERTY keyboard compared to the "clackiness" of the E71.

Any other questions feel free to ask!

any discounts at all available at the NYC flagship? Can you avoid the tax if you ask them to ship to NJ?

When you have time give us a general opinion about the device and compare with your retired N95 (software speed, keyboard usability, overall feeling).

A few people were calling the store and apparently were asking this...they DO NOT repeat DO NOT ship anywhere from the store

As far as touch responsiveness, it is very quick and accurate, though I cannot compare it to the 5800 as I have never played with one

Camera is great, better colors than N95

As of right now, overall the device seems at least on par with, if not a little faster, then my old N95.

as far as theme transitions, it was almost instant, much much faster than N95!

The N95 didn't have theme transitions...that's part of FP2, not FP1.

Or were you talking about the transition time changing from theme to theme?
