sammy a570 feedback?

Surely someone out there has purchased the new a570. what are your initial impressions? Are you experiencing any of the same download issues as the new lg125? How are the signal strength and the sound quality? I had a tough call deciding between the sammy and the lg, but no speakerphone, and no analogue swayed me in the direction of the lg. I'd be very interested to hear how people are liking the new samsung. Thanks.

My little review about Sammy A570:

-Sound quality is amazing. THe sound has just enough bass and is louder than all other sammy phones. For Sound Quality (sound reproduction + volume), I would prefer the a570 over LG125.

-RF: RF is as good as Sammy A670, but the lack of analog might be a problem for some users. If you don't care about analog, go for Sammy a570.

-Software: Not found any bug yet.... Hope this will last.... Generally, when you think about bug, you think about LG.

-Speakerphone: I think a speakerphone is as important as having vibration. I think this is a major lack for this handset.

-THE LOOK!: OKay, The green LG125 is really GAY! :rolleyes2 On the other hand, the white one is really KING! . Now about the sammy, my own opinion: a little bit too much conservative.

I will come back with more infos later...

Can someone else confirm this? This is a pretty silly issue if it's on all handsets.

Personally I had a customer come in and regardless of what level the tone was on it wouldn't ring. The problem though was only with the downloaded ringtone he had. I tried downloading two other tones to the phone and had the same issue where it just wouldn't ring regardless of whether it was on high, medium..etc. However it would show that you had an incoming call. Alot of good that will do you unless you are staring at your phone waiting for a call.

No downloaded ring tones work with the A570. Can someone who has the A570 see if the high and vib works when you change the ring tone to another default ring tone. Someone with a rogers samsung said that that certain ring tones on her phone do not vibrate and ring so if some one could try that out that would be great.

Well this totally sucks ... I'm fed up with phones that have thee silly little feature issues ...

I hated that the ringtones downloaded with my 535 always had a low volume, now with this new Sammy there's NO volume? Come on!!!! Some of us don't hack phones so something out of the box, that works with the services Telus wants us to pay for, really should work properly!

I'll be really upset if I ended up having to go back and buy the a670 . .so far I have not heard anything "bad" about that one. My a520 is just about ready to croak, but I'm holding on as long as possible to check out the new Sammy camera phone in the Fall/late summer (hopefully) ... any idea which model this is? Anyone? Anyone?

Does anyone else thinks this phone starts up pretty fast?
I love the shape.
Also how you can change the size of the dialing digits, and the colors, it's a cool customizable feature.
First impression seems that it's a little thick.
No Analog is bad thing for our market area.

The UI is pretty nice on the A570, start up time is faster than A650 and A670.

Overall, I give it 3.5 out of 5 1/2 star

Would be real nice if Telus got the Samsung 2 megapixel slider phone. I think the SPH-A800.

As for the A670, I'm seeing an increased number of broken hinges, always on the top right side by the light. Manufacturer defect? Obviously Samsung will blame physical user damage.

If you buy the A670, buy a pouch or leather cover at least, to protect the delicate hinge and save yourself repair costs.
