So to Modify your KJAM customization first of all you have to go get your self Total Commander for PPC

So Install it on the Beast..

Run the App

So at the top of the screen there is an Input box containing a “\”

Just Type in “\Extended_Rom\”

And now you have access to the Extended ROM

I made a copy of all of the above to an SD card BEFORE DOING ANYTHING else (NoBackUp…learned his lesson……Harry Potter !!!)

So I Reduced my ER to Just

Don’t forget to hard reset let the imate setup run (will not only install the stuff you did not delete) and try out your new toy..

It is an amazing "must have" app that transforms pocket IE into a useful browser....not perfect but close with all the features. Im just not sure it is going to be compatible with WM5 don't think they did much with IE though. If not compatible then I assume the programmer will update it.

How to turn on vibrate mode:

On page 11 of the Wizard manual, button 15 (Comm Manager) lets you do the same it seems.

"Press to start comm manager, press and hold to switch to vibration mode."

Here is the process for hard reset,
press Comm button + voice button (the 2 top side buttons) + soft reset, then hold the D-Pad up for about 10 seconds...

Bootloader mode is
Camera button + voice button + soft reset.

And don't install MS voice command until there is an update for WM5..

Mix - great idea for a thread! And not to be off-topic but when can we expect the perfect BT headset for the KJAM? (AX2 of course!)

If you are having problems with connecting the k-jam to your computer, you might want to try ActiveSync 4.1 to update the USB drivers.

download ActiveSync 4.1 (valid as of Sept 30 8am CST)

I am going to remove the virus protection before I even use it.

Speaking of ActiveSync, I installed 4.0 and noticed that I can't change the settings of my Tasks. So, they all sync and I can no longer say only sync past 4 weeks, etc. I wonder if 4.1 corrects this? Hmmm...

seconds) to turn off your device completely.
When your device is in sleep mode, you can still use
the phone function to receive calls; however, the phone
function is off when you turn off the device completely.
