Summed up very nicely.

Cingular, at the end of the day, it's finding something that suits your needs.

Need Help!!!!

1.)Is there anyone out there that knows the actual cost of setting up the server for a blackberry vs a Treo?
2.) my company is thinking of moving from blackberry's to Treo what can i honestly say to stop them?
the main reason is because the cost of licensing and software will be like $10,000 I think.
3.) I don't like the treo, please give me some ammunition.

Mark Rejhon has some nice FAQ reads.

Advantages of Blackberry: Why Blackberry?

Blackberry Myths Busted

All this and more at the FAQ.

In the end, it may be impossible to get into the minds of your company's Preventers of Information Management once they're minds are made up. Good luck.

I was thinking of getting some sort of PDA phone for work since I'll be changing jobs soon so I could benefit being able to sync with work email and calendar functionality. I believe the company I work for supports Blackberry, but I shouldn't need to tap into that, should I?

Also, does Blackberry email support attachments, like in-line screenshots? Or will it just be an attachment that I have to open separately?

TIA!

Don't be. It's OK.

For more reading on the subject matter, point your browser over to blackberryforums.com and look for the 8700 forum. Lots of chit-chat and links there, too. Including BarJohn's audio clip.

Anyway, there's a thread over there right now where one conference attendee's 8700 has already shown signs of wear on the screen (I think he dropped it) and something about the side key being slightly cheap/weak. Hopefully, this is an isolated case.

Piece of crap. It's a V635 wrapped in a candy shell, with no EDGE.

I'm sure the mindless will be lining up in droves to pay $500 for it, though.

Well, my account rep emailed me today stating the devices will ship to event attendees around the 21st... I was really hoping it would arrive earlier than that. Oh well. Still can't really complain about the price.
