LiquidPlatinum, sorry for that, if that's from corporate, thanks for the info. With so many threads going on these days, with different dates, and all, that's what I had thought.

Well it's SUPPOSED to be for new acts/upgrades but I have seen lots of people get rebates after buying the phone full retail. I think it's more that Verizon just doesn't want people to think they can get the rebate on FR and tell their employees to tell customer that they can't.

So, then Best Buy won't be getting them on 12/05, but on 12/12, which means that all retail stores will start selling them on 12/12, and then online promotion begins on 12/07?
If I were to order online on 12/07, would there be an option to order a new contract (new activation) for 2 years with overnight shipping? Normally, how long does shipping take to New York, New York?
LP is down... he always gets it to us straight... and correct...
I don't know if its the fact that I am reading that late at night, or what- but that has to be the single most funny thing I have read in quite some time!
The info was officially released to employees late this afternoon (EST at least):
Release dates:
Online Promotion: December 7th
Official in-store release: December 12th
Pricing BEFORE $100 MAIL-IN REBATE:
2yr: $299.99
1yr: $349.99
Full Retail: $419.99
DONE.
Well, at least it's less than the $619 full retail that was originally listed. Thanks for the solid info, LP. Maybe that other ENDLESS thread can now die peacefully!
