N-80 is Now BT Certified, and there are 2 variants, N80-1 & N80-3

check this link N80 BT Qualification

there are 2 variants RM-91 and RM-92, hence NA version will be offered, unless otherwise nokia changed their mind...hehehe

N80-1 is with 850/900/1800/1900 EGSM and WCDMA 2100 bands (not sure if this is RM-91, coz there is a typo on the website)

N80-3 is with 850/900/1800/1900 EGSM and WCDMA 1900 bands (not sure if this is RM-92, coz there is a typo on the website)

haha yes!!! now this gives more time for the phone to be out and thus for the price to go down, so that when I am ready to say goodbye to my 6682 (not ready yet ) then hopefully the N80 should be somewhere around my price range!! YES

*thinks of high-resolution screen*

Only thing I'm concerned about is that due to the slider form factor, will changing the housing even be possible for a regular user? This is one advantage of most Nokias I like -if the housing gets scratched up or you just get tired of it, just change it Hope it won't be too hard with the N80's

>> what really sucks is the downgrade from the N70's BT v2.0 to the 1.2 spec as listed way above. You figured we'd gain the A2DP spec but NoooOOOoo they had to clip its balls too.!

>> More & more disappointed with Nokia. I'll skip the N80 initially.

This is taken directly from the bluetooth specification centre. It does say nokia n70 has bluetooth version 2.

Maybe they're saving N80-2 for the inevitable UMTS 850/1900 model?
