The first phone (yellow and black) will be the first CDMA/iDEN phone released. It could be as early as 10/2006. Like the i560 and i580 it will be a rugged design.
This other phone wont be until the second quarter of 2007.
If I get more info I’ll let you know. Hope you like.
OMFG, im going to buy three. i cannot wait. sprint to pickup where nextel does not have coverage. will you be able to use DC on CDMA? looks like a i530 on steroids.

i hate sprint and wont be carrying arround anything with sprint on it.
My sediments exactly. I will go even one step further .... I won't carry a cell phone that has the Sprint CDMA network in it, either. I will never use CDMA nor do I want any part of it. Just Nextel iDEN for me, thank-you!!

Of coarse they can be. Because they already are just artist renderings included in inter-company presentations.
The bumblebee colors are often used to visually distinguish the phone as a Nextel product (Execs seem to need all the help they can get lol.) but that color scheme rarely sees actual production. The bottom one looks like a 380 because it pro'ly is. Sometimes all the artist has to go on is the concept specs... "about the size of the 380, large internal screen, PTT button, yada, yada, yada..."
Also, the first write ups I saw last summer indicated they would be SIM less.
Call me a skeptic but I'm not convinced. I'm especially not certain how they plan to pack two radios (CDMA and iDEN into one phone), power the thing (remember you've got to power two radios now), have great screens, AND be smaller than any existing iDEN model. 1+1 does not equal 4.
