I have htaccess set up to redirect /mms/servlets to /humpa_mms/send.php - so if you are running your own version of my MMS server, then edit the MMSC POST URL to where ever your send.php is.
Or sign up with www.thephonecam.com and use http://www.thephonecam.com and for the POST URL use /username/password (use your username and pass, of course )
... I hope this works - Mark, can you see if it actually works if you edit the POST URL?
ok, it worked for me using my www.thephonecam.com settings like I just posted
But my phone is stuck in the Sending Message screen and it won't let me clear it (it says I can't because it is sending ... lol).
But the pic went: http://www.thephonecam.com/pics/Humpa_4.html
You can hover over the pic and see the phone used to send.
OK, the message finally went away and my phone is back to normal.
I'm going to have to see what happened there - maybe if I change the setting to try 3 times to just try once.
I still think I'm going back into LG Downloader and changing that "attempts: 3" to a "1" just in case. There's no need to have it try 3 times if it fails.
BTW, I've added the rapidshare link to the LG stuff you need to my www.humpa.com/vzw page.
If you run the script on your own site, it will also send to phone numbers and email addresses, if you fill in the To address fields when you compose your Pic Message. My demo page has that feature turned off, and thephonecam.com doesn't do that either.
Step 4 should be:
4 Change the MMSC SERVER URL to http://www.thephonecam.com .. and MMSC Post URL as /username/password
4a. Change the MMSC SERVER URL to http://www.humpa.com .. and MMSC Post URL as /humpa_mms/send.php (use this if you want to test my www.humpa.com/humpa_mms server - replace those values when you install your own mms server on your site)

Ok, so I got the URL in step 4 wrong...
But If step one says to login and create an account at thephoncam.com.... why would you need step 4a?
Or does the script you have available for DL run without needed authentication?
Btw, I'm adding this as item # 8 on the CHOCOLATE link (on the nav list along the left) at http://mark.cdmaforums.com

You mentioned Humpa's MMS server in step 4, so I just separated that to 4a for clarification.
Perhaps www.thephonecam.com should be explained in one post without mentioning the humpa_mms server, and then a separate post for www.humpa.com/humpa_mms
My MMS server is made up of php files. The one that actually processes the MMS message is the send.php. So that is what you use for the MMSC URL - if a MMS message is posted to the send.php, then my script will process it.
It's just that on the chocolate (and other LG phones) the MMS URL is saved in two parts. The MMSC Server URL and the MMSC Post URL.
My humpa_mms requires no authentication - it is intended for your own personal use. And if you want to stop other people from posting to it, you simply rename the send.php to anything you want.
Now, when using the menu option on your LG phone, you can select a Picture or Video and click on Options > Send. Then in the To field select Add > 4. To Pix Place.
Then fill in the Subject or Text field and that will be used as your caption. Don't bother putting in any email addresses or phonenumbers in the To field becaude thephonecam.com ignores that field.
If you want to send your pics to email addresses or phone numbers/email addresses, you can do that from thephonecam.com when viewing your pic.
The newest pics are shown right on www.thephonecam.com homepage, or you can use your personal page: www.thephonecam.com/Username
You also can setup your own Private Gallery that will require your friends to use a special password of your choosing to view. You can move any of your pics to your Private Gallery. Your Private Gallery will be at www.thephonecam.com/private_gallery/Username
For example, my private gallery is at www.thephonecam.com/private_gallery/Humpa - use humpa_test for the password
If you have your own website that supports php and doesn't have banner ads inserted by your webhosting company.
The benefits of using your own humpa_mms server is that you can still send pic messages to phone numbers and email addresses - or you can choose to only send them to your humpa_mms gallery. You can also send them to an email address/number AND your humpa_mms gallery
Here is my demo page: www.humpa.com/humpa_mms
You can try it out by sending here: http://www.humpa.com/humpa_mms/send.php
4 Change the MMSC SERVER URL to http://www.humpa.com ... and MMSC Post URL as /humpa_mms/send.php (or the path to your send.php - you can also rename the send.php so only you can post to it)
5. click WRITE...
You're set.
Now, when using the menu option on your LG phone, you can select a Picture or Video and click on Options > then you can either use Send or To Pix Place
My humpa_mms also supports audio files - I'm not sure if we can send audio files from the chocolate, but if you can, just follow the same steps as sending a Pic or Video.
If you use "Send", my MMS server will forward to any email address or phonenumber that you put in the To fields.
There are options in the config.php that you can configure.
For example, when forwarding/sending pic messages to phonenumbers, you can enable/disable that option in the config.php and choose which provider to use.
Verizon is used by default - so if you want to send to another provider, you can simply save their email address in your phone (5555551212@messaging.sprintpcs.com for example) - or you can change the config.php to use @messaging.sprintpcs.com instead of @vzwpics.com
You can also turn off commenting, or make commenting password protected. I've also included a complete set of some cool smilies. And you have some basic features like deleting.
