well you had better hope that the nokia website firmware upgrade has the latest firmware available as on my N70 I had version 5.0609.2.0.1 and it said it was up to date but version 5.0.616.2.0.3 but then again I guess its not a major firmware upgrade like from v3. to v5. etc so will let them off.

I upgraded my N80 to v4 as soon as I got it so don't know if it is any better of not but it doesn't have some strange quirks, like if I have an image for a contact and they call me the screen goes all out of sync

Thanks for this information, Carphone Warehouse have tried on two occasions to update the firmware on my N80 and both time the phone would not take the update.

I see you are waiting to use the "Updater" can you please advise what this is? is it part of Nokia PC suite or a stand alone App.

My current firmware is v3.0614.0.3, 11-04-2006, RM-92, Nokia N80 (31.02)

Regards....

I flashed mine last week to

V4.0623.0.41
26.07.2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (01)

Now in Device manager there is the firmare updates tool. Basically like a button and it searches for later firmware. I guess once nokia do their thing this will become active.....
