MDA wm5 > wm6 PISSED!

Ok looking around to find a working wm6 for mda phones. I called tmobile and they will not be upgrading the MDA's no longer.

I pay $130/mo + $$$ for a phone i cant upgrade, wtf ? I told them to lower my bill or i'll move on to somewhere else, i been with them 6 years.

Anyway, can anyone here point me to the right spot for upgrading to mda to wm6. i really like this phone and dont want to give it up.

Well most carriers dont do OS upgrades so its NOT just T-mobile, let alone on a phone that has been on the market for over a year. My opinion would be to upgrade to a Dash, which will get WM6 in the future.

That slow 198 or 206mhz processor of the MDA can barely handle WM5 so what makes you think it can handle WM6. The MDA is outdated news and I would pick up a TyTn if you can. But if you know where to look, you can probally find a WM6 ROM to flash onto your MDA

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=297256

The version in that thread is specific to the HTC Universal, aka the O2 Exec, MDA Pro etc.

Look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=356 for info on WM6 for your K-JAM.

XDA DEV is THE best resource for hacking and modifying Windows Mobile devices. Unfortunately, Micro$oft are in the process of demanding that they take down all the files on their FTP site, which will be a huge loss to the great community who inhabit their forums. So check it out sooner rather than later....

Their FTP server appears to be down. :-( Does anyone know if/where we can purchase an upgrade to WM6? Club i-mate doesn't mention anything...
