I just got my Nokia 5300 and I was able to add music right away using my PC then drag and drop then I added a Music video that I had download from Limewire. The Music Plays but the Video does not.
Something about the Format on the Video is not Compatable. What kind of Video format can I put on the Nokia 5300 and where can I find Music Video's that I can put and play on my 5300?
Search for Xiliisoft 3GP Video Converter. I am getting my Nokia 5300 Xpress Music phone next friday cause the man at the T-Mobile store lied about the price of the phone without contract extension. He told me $379 which was the invoice for new customers. I am an exisiting customer and if he would have actually looked on the computer and looked on my account it would have said $229.99 just like the customer service rep told me and MyT-Mobile.com said.
I hate playing videos on the 5300. I find the quality marginal and I hate that I cannot FF or reverse the video. I was hoping to watch movies on the subway ride home!

I use Super C to convert AVI files to 3gp.

Make sure you've got the settings right when you convert. I've found you need at least a 500 kbit/s rate on video (to match video quality pulled off youtube) and I made sure to use AAC encoding on audio instead of AMR (which was the default for my program) for 3gp and got astounding improvement.
Plus you can fast forward, at least it will jump an interval of seconds depending on what you've set--I think default is 10 seconds--but you don't use the music player's buttons but rather the white navigation pad.
