I see some of the prices on T-Mobile's site have changed since I last checked. For example, the 5-day Mates pass was £5 now it's £7.50. They also had a "free SIM for £10 top-up" which seems not to be there. However £0.50 isn't the end of the world.
I assume I can't buy the £0.50 SIM (with or without top-up) online for delivery to Canada, though I might be able to have it sent to a friend, if the site will take my credit card. eBay sellers want about $1 but several $ more for shipping. How much does it cost to buy a SIM card in a UK shop? Can I get it for free or £0.50 in a shop if I buy with airtime?
And if the shop price is reasonable, are there any shops in Heathrow (landside) where I'd be able to buy it on arrival?
