RAZR V3re (Pearl Gray)

I purchased a Pearl Gray RAZR V3 for my father as an XMas gift. The phone feels cheaper than my old RAZR V3. The obvious is the plastic battery door, but even the keypad feels cheaper.

Does anyone know exactly what changed on this phone? Motorola phone tools reports it as being a V3re.

I remember reports of a T-Mobile RAZR V3 06 that was going to have EDGE, but I don't think this is that phone.

The phone will hold up just fine. Even if it feels a bit different from your old razr. It's a good thing you didn't buy your father the Nokia 5300 you would be freaking out by now the phone is pretty much all plastic.

Why doesn't T-Mobile.com list edge on the phone? I may go buy one to get a My Faves plan.

Bump. I have search HF and Google. I found no details on this phone beyond normal V3 specs.

probably they just don't want to confuse customers, but the one with plastic battery cover will support EDGE, that's what I heard from reps
