ive heard lotta stories bout sony ericsson's x1i 3g not working on Rogers or Fido network, only works with edge in canada, is that true? also would i be able to use my blackberry data plan with the x1i?
yes, it is true as the x1i only has 900/1900/2100 3g bands, you need the x1a version which has 850/1900/2100 3g bands which will work on rogers/fido network as they rely on the 850 umts band for 3g.
Yes, you black berry data panel will work but you need to install a software cab to allow the blackberry settings to work.
