I have ROM dump from Wifi enabled Q9h!!

Folks -

Won't go into details here, but you can page through the thread at http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mo...rare-31866.html.

Short summary - I have one of those rare Q9h models with the WiFi enabled. It has what may be a moto engineer's custom ROM build of WM 6.1.(again, see thread for details).

Following instructions on this thread here: http://www.everythingq.com/forum/mo...-rom-28242.html I was able to create a .bin file, along with an uncompressed file system dump. What I don't know is how to make either of those into an .SBF file that will work with RSD.

So: If someone can enlighten me, I'm happy to give it a shot, and test the output on my stock Q9h. Otherwise, if someone would like either the .bin file, or the uncompressed dump, or both, give me an FTP or other site to upload them to and you can have at it.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide...

If anyone would like to download the files and try to work with them:

The .bin file is here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/2109235...fs_raw_data.bin

the full dump is here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/210924927/dump.zip

Good luck...let me know if you have success loading either of these onto your Q9h.

Are these files ready for reflashing on other phones or there is still something that needs to be done to make it work?

Thanks!

I am surprised this thread didn't get more attention.

I'm away from the Q9h now, and using an E71-2.

But it seems to me that a year ago a thread like this would've brought the big wigs and power players running.
