I'm torn, which should I keep? G1 or iPhone
I bought a G! at Wal-Mart Monday, unlocked it and had it set up and working in about 30 minutes. It's a pretty cool phone, great reception(No 3G is a moot point, since I'm not in a 3G area anyway) Only downside so far really is battery life.
I read a few reviews comparing it to the iPhone, so being the impulsive person I am I went back to Wallyworld yesterday evening and got an 8GB iPhone(had an upgradable line), intending to do my own comparision. It didn't take me long to realize how much I missed having one; it also didn't take long to remember why i sold my last one when I got my 1st MMS. Anyway here are my pros and cons for each so far:
HTC G1:
Pros:
Reception
Android OS
Voice control
OTA OS updates
Android Market MMS
Push email (throuh Gmail)
Physical keyboard
Works fine with $15 "Unlimited Data"
Universal Charger (Mini USB)
Everyone and their grandmother doesn't have it.
Cons:
Battery life(1100mah)
Android OS (only for the learning curve, the included manual is useless)
Battery life
Android Market (not as many apps, free or paid)
Not a lot of accessories yet.
iPhone:
Pros:
Apple build quality
Reception
Battery life
OSX 10(it just works)
Safari
App Store
iPod
Cons:
$30 data
No MMS(www.viewmymessage.com sux) yet anyway.
No voice control
Locked OS(unless you jailbreak)
No user replaceable battery
Everyone and their grandma has one
So let me know your experiences and or opinions.
Thanks in advance.
Edit:
LOL in all honesty, I'd like to keep both of them but I can't. I've got 14 days for return the GI or 30 days for the iPhone(3 days to waive the upgrade fee)

LOL, dude you're as bad as I am about phones. At this moment I have my G1, iPhone, and Bold on my desk, I love them all, but I dont need them all. I need to recoup some $$$$! The Bold is on eBay as we speak. I'm leaning toward the G1 right now, simply for the savings on the data package; $15 versus $30 per month. I'm so confused!!!
Edit:
I forgot, I also have my old standby "YardSale Special" HP6515. It's my get drunk, get goofy phone. It's doesn't look the greatest anymore but it still works perfect. $50 bucks at a yardsale back last summer.

UPDATE:
I returned the G1 today, it's a cool phone, especially with the 1.5(Cupcake) update, but the Android Market can't hold a candle to the App Store, and the music player SUX bigtime. I can see it giving the iPhone some serious competition with more refinement and better apps.
