can someone recommend a good ringtone software?

im looking for a software, pref. free that i can edit my mp3's to use as ringtones for my new E71X NOKIA. it can use mp3's but i want to cut out some of the mp3's. anyone know? thanks in advance.

Audacity has been mentioned a lot in editing mp3's for ringtones.

i use 2 different ringtone makers myself..depending on situation..as one program i paid for.....but you want free....get and try the audacity program...you'll have to download it as well as the encoder driver to make the mp3 tones....but that isn't a problem...got to the site and follow the directions .....super easy, fast, and it works great....then start experimenting with the stuff....be your best bet..

the audacity program is free..the dj tone express which i use also is not...but here is the link..you may want to look and consider it...got a trial i think of it...
