VX9800 ringtone help

Hey guys. Im new to the fourms and i need some help geting some ringtones on my vx9800. We just switched to metro pcs and had our phones like tranfered to the metro network i guess thats the way to explain it. We basicly made the phones acess the metro network instead of the Verison network, so seince we did that we cant go online with our phones even though its included with our plan and we cant get picture messaging. So i was woundering if there was another way i could get ringtones for my phone. Even though if we did get picture messaging the phone wont let you save sounds as ringtones. so can anyone shed some light on the subject?

Metroflash only sets you up for voice and text, you'll need to modify your phone yourself or have someone else do it for you to do the rest (WAP, MMS..if possible, etc)

As far as ringtones, your best bet it to use Bitpim.

Also, start reading as much as you can in the Metro forum.

There are literally pages and pages of tutorials in the metro forum on how to modify phones (at least, what the correct settings are).. you should just be able to follow the guide for the env/9900 that berry_lthird wrote. It's actually really easy.. but you'll have to research a bit, it's not something you want to do without reading the directions a few times.

Also, as far as what Bitpim is.. try this: http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=bitpim

Did you get the right one for your OS? Did you download it from the main page at bitpim.org?
