hey i was wondering if i create a jpg image on my comp for the size of Nokia screen (what should the dimentions be:P) Is there any way to send your own customized images to the phone through some SMS program or some website???

Alternativly, would it be easy to set up my own Wap Site and then log on to it and then copy the graphic? If so...how do i create a wap site? Any links:P

The Resolution of the 3595's screen is 96x65.

If you have a image that you have created and want on your phone, an easy way to do it would to be to upload that image (to couchpotato.ca for instance), And on your 3595 type in the Exact web address that the pic is in,using wireless internet

I am living in Canada so what you have suggest makes a lot of sence. I have never used the WAP before on my phone. So lets say i put it up on that webpage. Do i simply type that in my phone browser when it asks me where to go? And when it is done downloading it will give me the option to save.

If you could expand on this a little...it would be really great. Thank you so much for your help

Ok...lets say you have already uploaded the pic to couchpotato.ca
You would go the image you made, and right click, and click properties to get the web address. Or you could just look at the web address bar. And when you get to that, go to your phone, there should be an option under services that says "go to web address" or something like that, and you type it in exactly as you saw on the computer. I.E. To get to this Exact thread Directly you would type in "http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=356207" only you type in whatever the address is,into your phone

Hope that was clear, and didn't confuse you.

Thankx 8265boi...this worked like a charm. I just have one more question. I am using FIDO Prepaid so i am charged by the minute insead of being charged for the amount i download.

I notcied that it took me forever to type in the url!!! Is there a way I can have the Url typed in beforehand and then basically just connect online through the phone and go to the site.

I think this should be a possible...I just don;t know how. I was thinking is it possible to make a note or contact and put the website address there...then connect and just pull that NOte/Contact and connected to the site and just pay the flat 30 cent fee per min I use, rather than spend 5 mins just to type in the url correct and end up finishing my talk time :P

Please let me know if you have a solution. And thankx again for all the help

instead of typing in the url everytime, try bookmarking them so you just have to click them to use them.

Use MobiMb from http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/products.php?id=51 and a 3510/3510i/3530/3590 serial cable, currently on special at http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/cat.php?cat=cables, and guaranteed to work with the software.

My exact words were:

'I asked the author if there were any special offers for people, if I recommend them to his software (as everyone seems to want me to give them my copy- and that would only be blocked). I am not sure if he has counted on me putting this on the newsgroup, but I guess if he doesn't like it, he'll take down the link. Anyhow- 20 per cent off MobiMB which supports most Nokia phones for the colour logos, images, photos, wallpapers, java games (allows you to switch between games and apps), and polyphonic ringtones.

20% off MobiMB:

http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/re...ucher=C9AC79255 '

I was NOT asking for a discount for promoting the software- why would I? I already had the software- and got the 20 per cent discount myself.

Most posters on this forum have something that they like using- whether it be a particular model of phone, using WAP, using bluetooth, using infrared, etc. I like this software and that is where my experiences come from, and so I mention my experiences in my replies. Now I know it offends you guys, I will try not to be over-zealous in future, but I will still mention the software I use if it seems appropriate.

Apologies for being forced to go off topic for those people who are interested in the title of this thread rather than our conversation.
