need a quick nokia/terminology briefing...

I know nothing about nokias.. Anyone want to brief me on the general lineup of phones/features available? For example, what is the difference between series 40, series 60, series 80..etc.

Thanks!
Dave

symbian

www.nokiausa.com and look under symbian you will learn tons of information, each series are like plaforms just like computers the higher the numbers the more stuff it does! so a 40 series it's like just Java or so a 60 series you can add cool downloads games, applications etc...

Look here as well to see what phones have Symbian OS as well as Series 60 or Series 80 user interfaces:

How large are the dictionaries? If they need more memory than the allotted availability on the MMC, then get a 256 or 512 MB MMC. Make sure you select the MMC as the installation destination. You should always leave some internal memory free so the phone can carry out its bootup sequence correctly and load needed startup files into the RAM/ROM.

Also ask in the Series 60 forum since the 3650 is an S60 model:
