**Free WAP for V710 tutorial***
this uses airtime, but costs no money. I hope it helps. You can change the homepage to whatever you want and I don't know if you need the password, but just put it in. It doesn't hurt.
1.) Click Menu
2.) click "mobile Web"
3.) click "web sessions"
4.) click "New Entry"
fill in the following

I feel bad for not offering it earlier. I figured everyone had it.
just a tip, there is a number 1-800-555-8355 that is a free call. it's a voice activated directory that gives you a lot of the stuff you are most likely going to use mobil web for like weather, sports, entertainment, directions. have fun.

it is legal. perfectly legal. You are just not using verizon as a isp.
The opinion that this eliminates the need for verizon's mobile web. I bet most people will say yes. It just depends if you like there format and features better.
ok, I'm laboring w/my old timeport, verizon w/msn...only using the content they put on my phone. I've tried many times to key in links to sites I've found on the web in "'wap directories" and I always get error messages
W/this v710 mobile web 2, can I put in any wap link I want to and browse it?
