Recently I found a monster of a phone in the trash.
It is a large InterTan model 17-8004 "cellular mobile telephone" andit has some rather strange parts. First, it looks like it can be hung on a wall, second, it hasslots on each side like it can dock with something, thir, on the bottom under a rubber plug is a female joystick-like port that might prove the docking theory. I was unable to find the manuals and it would be nice to find anything relating to this phone. I you want, I can post mire details and numbers.
