I just received my new Toshiba 803T in the mail a couple of days ago. This is my very first Vodafone and I bought it from E-bay. So it took me about 2 hours to configure it to the US Cingular network, but now I'm having problems with downloading MP3's in it and configuring the web...I'm about to cry pretty soon, because I'm really happy with the phone. Could someone please tell me how to upload music into this phone and how to connect it to the WEB? Please thank you so much...
Japanese 803T won't play mp3 files because of DRM. If you want to use it as an mp3 player, you'll have to use the Beat Engine program to convert/upload the files onto the mini-SD. Ringtones, you have to convert the mp3 into .mmf format.
Make an effort and read down a couple of threads there is one on what settings to enter for cingular web. Btw, what took you 2hrs to configure for cingular network before having trouble entering web settings... should've been able to just put cingular sim in and go.
Thank you SOOOO much for all the help...I got my phone up and running...the reason why it took me so long to configure it with the GSM here in the US, was because yes that right "break-r" it was in 3G instead of GSM, the handset was set to Japanese instead of English and the entire manual was in Japanese....i pretty much had to guess on where to go...but HAHA!! I'm pretty much set....just one more question...where can I get wallpapers for this thing?...i was looking at the Toshiba User Club Site, but everything's in Japanese...I was wondering if they have an English version of that?...Thanks again for everything.... I love my phone.
