• THE FUTURE IS FRIENDLY: TELUS is waiving the Account set-up fee until further notice

I know it's old news but i thought I would post it anyway as an example of the bulletins..

In direct response to Bell and Rogers, TELUS will waive the Account Set-up fee for new activations on a 3 year term until further notice.

The ISSUE will of course be if the reps forget to WAIVE the Account Set-up fee at time of activation ~ to easy for human error to occur especially since some reps will be quite busy activating upcoming iPhone 4 or BlackBerry slider multiple activations at once while answer abrupt interruptions of questions from potential sales clients.

This is something Telus SHOULD enable right away at the point of activation.

Activation fees are a scam. They should be pulled from all carriers.

I could understand in the old days when everything was manual and the process of activating a phone wasn't completely automated, but in today's wireless industry there is no reason for an activation fee other than greed.

Donít dial a 1. Try all 10 digits OR 10 digits preceded by a plus sign.

Regardless CDMA is being retired this year.
