Was just a guess based on how that screen is labled. Good the texting BAL confirmed what that screen is really indicating.
In addition to what @whacker suggested about data management, make sure in...
Even with VoLTE enabled, if you live in a fringe area the phone will still drop to 3G(1x) if it can't pull the LTE signal and in that state for some reason calls don't work sometime. At least that's...
I was hoping someone that's on a monthly plan would chime in about what that balance screen is actually indicating.
Most people I've seen post in this thread are on the PayGo plan.
Have you tried...
Open questions the op needs to answer.
What model phone were they using on TF/ATT; did it stop working due to non-ATT compatibility?
Was it the new Vzw sim that was then activated and working?
...
I'm on PayGo and never saw what a monthly plan screen looks like. But, your plan has a heading of "REMAINING", but the data column is headed "DATA USAGE". So is that actual usage and not remaining...
What about the sim you used. Was it the SE's original or a BYOP/vzw ?
That's interesting, not even a need to request rebranding ?
Thanks. Exactly what I was trying to say. Speed for capacity is the main intent, not to thrill someone with a movie download in 3 seconds.
And bmtvaquero sums it up well. Even 40mbps is plenty. ...
True; but again the discussion is about the range and umph of the cdma signal. Some people are no longer in range of LTE on the same tower.
As was mentioned, there was little or no tower infill to...
Like you said, still the same point: But 1 GB = 1024mb. 3 = 3072mb.
The greater purpose of mmwave or uwb by the networks in itself is for increased capacity (more reliable service for more users) not speed itself.
Can someone explain why you even need more then 400mbps? Does my understanding not factor in something?
If an average movie is 3GB, at 400 mbps thats 7.5 seconds to download. At 1000 mbps thats 3...
As was pointed out to you in the other thread, the elimination of cdma(3G) with no viable LTE substitute in those rural areas..
It's not about keeping cdma. It's about networks (Verizon in this case) not providing LTE to area's that had perfectly fine cdma.
I totally agree. I was referring to if a person is unable to tell the 911 operator where they're at.
I know I had a hang of at time getting my wifi calling working on another carrier and on the T-Mobile network. Android phone though.
Turns out the e911 address must be registered with USPS. I live...
Exactly my thought. Like they're going to put up more towers to infill between now and the end of the year when they haven't even broken ground.
I may very well be incorrect. But as I read the Vzw/TF agreement the 2-3 years is for people that in Verizon's opinion don't have Verizon service in their area.
Maybe the free Vzw sims are for...
They're VoLTE.
Just curious since this is one of the only threads that talks about these devices. There are not only regular phones but also adapters to hook up to phones that are blue tooth. You can just blue...
I do but when I get time I'm going to bounce that one off PP first.
Like you said, those instructions read basically the same across all TF companies and some of them have plans that specifically...
Congrats. PPC like any mvno is mostly about getting the right CSR.
Yeah I didn't know how Iphones work with APNs.
By "internet download tool" I was just referring to things like you tried.
I have 2 BYOPs that use the tracfone.vzwentp APN and once had a TF...
I asked them maybe about a month ago and they said not yet. Just do a chat and ask and let us know.
As far as the T&Cs, often things like that on PP website are just copies of Tracfone's info.
PPC has nothing to do with the edit, I can do it on my android if I want. I think I read you can't edit APNs on Iphones, but don't know.
You said you installed a new profile/APN and that's when the...
