It could just be the way the network there is determining what bands to put your phone on rather than an issue with your phone. I've seen similar anomalies on AT&T with an S10/S9 as well.

I think that area up to around Bay City is where T-Mobile has 20x20 for bands 2 and 66. If they add 10x10 71 to that it should run really fast. I'm looking forward to B41 being added. Their 5G will...

I've been wondering how the CA combos will look. They can do 25+41 but can they run 2+41 ? Perhaps they will do MFBI.

That's going to be a ton of spectrum to work with.....man!

I agree. I was just browsing through the certified upper and lower frequencies for B66 on the S20+ 5G/986U. It doesn't appear to support the AWS-4 frequencies even as a SCC. Perhaps FCC would allow a...

It's already confirmed on VZ but not the Chicago area yet. I'm sure they're (T) gonna go after some C band. At least I would hope they do.

They've got quite a bit more than that in many areas, but so far I've only seen 4CC (n261/28 GHz) which is 4x 100 MHz I'm assuming.

That was the case for a long time but I think they can determine added DL only carriers now. B46/LAA and B29(AT&T) are in the band filter and some coverage is shown on the maps now. It may take quite...

I've made 4 trips around the area so far while mapping but its not showing up for some reason. I've even seen a lot of LAA which isn't on there yet either. I've re-uploaded data points as well.

Yup. Heading west on Oakland B48 stayed connected for over 2000 feet. Seems hard to believe, but those carriers hung in there at a decent RSRP and SNR before dropping off.

Just checked my S9+ after the Android 10 update. VoLTE does indeed work but it's not HD Voice. Voice quality is meh, but at least calls go over data now.

EDIT: Calls do indeed utilize HD voice....
