Time to shut this ancient thread down.
I only had to login and worked on my Android phone
Sent from my SM-G991U using HoFo mobile app
I I am using a Samsung S21 on Tmobilevand have network options. Settings-Connections-Mobile Networks-Network Operators. When I turn off automatic selection it gives a list of abot 10 Networks. ...
Clearly you are not the only one having the issue. It has been reported and I hope it will be corrected ASAP, just don't know when myself. Thanks for pointing out the problem. Try to use the...
I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it, but it isn't working on my Samsung Galaxy S21 phone either.
And now, it is time to close this thread. We can thank 2 members constantly bickering over minutia for that. Let's just move on.
Mooooooo!!!
Just got the same phone myself, but migrated from Sprint back in May 2020. Very painless process even then.
I suspect that the billing system prevents you from using the SIM in another device currently. Wasn't always this way, but they can restrict use of your assigned phone #/SIM card in ineligible...
Have you tried dialing *72, forwarded phone # to enable ? If it works, dial *73 to disable.
If the feature doesn't work, it may not be available for prepaid as previously mentioned.
If there is an unpaid balance, there is nothing you can do. Only the original owner could pay an outstanding balance to clear the line. The policy would be the same for postpaid or prepaid and...
Please continue in the other thread where the discussion belongs. This thread is closed.
Could be. I suggest that you take it to a repair shop for evaluation to see if it is worth fixing.
I had the same model phone for about 2 years and never saw that type of image on my phone. How old is your phone ? Did you buy it new or used ? I suspect some type of internal hardware issue. Do...
Please keep this thread civil. Nobody has stepped over the line yet and I hope it stays that way.
IMHO, the carrier could effectively allow unlimited data (grandfathered feature) at the slower 2G or 3G data speeds instead of 4G and 5G as it was when the original plans were created and still be...
Nothing to see here folks. Thread closed as this is nothing earth shattering nor unique nationwide. Some cities have more than one area code as the number of phone #'s assigned require it.
When did they offer that plan ? Recently or more than a year ago ? Sometimes, the store can promise the world but never truly deliver on those promises. Just sayin......
Both HSPA/HSPDA and LTE are data only. VOLTE combines voice and data. LTE coverage would prevent "H" from showing on the display. Voice has NEVER worked on HSPA.
See the related Wikipedia...
That's almost impossible with modern phones. SIM cards have very little memory storage available for more than a few contacts. Modern phones store the contacts in their internal memory. SD cards...
Honestly, the carriers prefer to force customers to buy phones from them directly vs a "Bring Your Own Device" activation with other carrier branded handsets. They will make it as difficult as they...
If the indicators show as you explained, data is at the slower HSDPA (not 4G LTE) and voice is over VOLTE. I can't explain that.
Don't forget that CDMA-only devices are no longer being activated, it does require VOLTE now.
If only the letter "H" shows on the display instead of "LTE" it means you phone is accessing the older technology instead of the newer VOLTE (Voice Over LTE) which would indicate your voice will be...
