    No, that is incorrect... AT&T doesn't use band 12 and it is distinctly different than 17. Both are 700 MHz but not interchangeable.

    HSPA/GSM is 850Mhz(Band 5) and 1900Mhz(Band 2)

    AT&T no longer supports 2G/Edge, those towers were shutdown well over a year ago.

    Without LTE Band 17...

    I also notice when I call from GV app when on mobile data, my phone goes to HSPA+ mode, not stay on LTE as I would expect. Weird.

    EDIT: Also does it on WiFi... Strange. Wonder if it's really using...
