Just put your phone on airplane mode and then put wifi on. Test if you can send and receive messages using the message plus app then you're good.

Make sure data roaming is turned on. Sometimes resetting network settings can help but contact sprint before doing that

3g wasnt weak and calls worked. Text started to work properly after we swapped phones trying to test it out

A friend uses ultra mobile and wasnt getting text messages. She called ultra and she was told the phone needs to be an LTE phone. Doesn't sound right to me..

It actually gets the apn automatically and works fine for 15 seconds until it gets that notification.

For now I have my active Verizon sim in the phone.
According to vzw it's not locked but the intelligence level of the people I spoke to was not too high.
What I found strange was how it works for...
