When I worked for At&t CS, I assisted many customers traveling via cruise ships. We always recommended users turn off iMessage and roaming data.
iPhones can send messages via SMS to an...
Never forget that iPhones use iMessage and Android phones do not. Sending via SMS is definitely the answer for the OP.
Likely just marketing "fluff" to promote themself that is directed to your calling market.
More than likely, the CS rep refreshed the network settings for you on their end which forced the phone to re-establish a new network connection.
In the future, if you have the same issue, turn...
Please read this article: https://www.cnet.com/products/alcatel-myflip-a405dl-4g-cdma-cellular-phone-tfala405dcp/ and please pay attention to the article title that it is 4g - CDMA phone
The SIM # is a different number of digits than the IMEI. They are not interchangeable and due to the available sequence of digits, kind of like trying to make up a credit/debit card #. Only certain...
To the best of my knowledge, 2G phones cannot be activated in the US no matter what carrier. I know this phone has LTE capability, but if the billing system doesn't have the phone in their available...
I would have to guess that only customer service can help you with your question. Not likely that you can resolve it yourself.
Just like home computers, over time cell phones start slowing down as new files/data is added. Could be anything from security/OS updates, new applications/updates, music files, stored...
Do you have the phone yet or just thinking about buying one ?
I am trying to understand your question. Normally, you take a picture/video and then attach it to an email or send it as an MMS (Multi-media message) to the recipient. You shouldn't expect a bank...
When I first transitioned, I had a Samsung S9+ and an original iPhone SE, both branded Sprint. T Mobile mailed me 2 SIM cards and I transferred my phone #'s/new SIM cards myself in very little time....
Don't forget that even if you accept the offer for free SIM cards it won't prevent you from upgrading your phones later. Since you have the Sprint 55+ plan, you should qualify the the T-Mobile...
Probably related to your billing cycle. By changing the plan effective the day after your current cycle ends (12:01 am) prevents prorated charges. That is the preferred method of plan changes to...
You need to verify which cellular network frequencies are required/used by the carrier to confirm if the phone is compatible. If they are compatible, should work without any problem.
When I signed up for the plan in March 2020, only 2 lines were allowed at $70/month combined (fees and taxes included). There may have been an older version, but if so I don't have any details. I...
As long as the phone isn't blacklisted, should be no trouble for your friend to activate it. The original SE does support LTE/VOLTE so it is still compatible.
Since this thread is specifically about LG, seems a good place for it.
Thread closed as there is an additional thread in the LG forum from the same member, where it belongs.
I suggest that you do an online chat with At&t customer service or go to a local retail location to verify what, if any, changes would happen with your current cellular plans/features or discounts...
No disagreement. I would be disappointed if I was in the same situation.
Unless you can provide them proof of such a promotion, it would be difficult to get them to honor it. It is possible that the promotion expired before you activated service.
Can we get back to the thread topic ?? Enough of the OS bashing (Apple vs. Android) already. Please keep this thread friendly and no personal sniping. The thread discussion hasn't been an issue...
Please feel free to share your source of that statistic.
Jet, thanks for sharing those graphs with the community.
