The 5S is light years ahead of the iPhone 4 as far as performance goes. It also has a larger screen.

Other than that, iPhones really haven't changed since the first one in 2007.

I am in love with the build quality of my One X. The GS3 had better software, but that little home button was in a place that made it cumbersome to use. Hopefully the larger button and the better...

The rattle is probably the camera. I've had that rattle in just about every phone I've had lately.

It seems to me like a bad batch went through without any kind of quality control. I have watches that are anodized aluminum and after a few years they still look the same - no dents or scratches.
