Hey Everyone!
Been a while sine I posted here. But I am working on a new script and wanted to get feedback.
YouTube Pocket:
Just point your Windows Mobile enabled PPC or Smartphone to:
http://ytpocket.ath.cx
and follow the 'Getting Started' instructions and you will be ready to watch any YouTube video, right on your phone!
I have only tested this on a handfull of devices so i am really looking for some feedback. Please leave any comments, suggestions, or complaints here so i can try to address them.
Also, make sure to visit the Buffering / Syncing page on there with some tips.
If you like the site please help me out and digg it:

luv2hum, You have to read the 'Getting Started' link on the home page and install the played and the codec. Once installed follow the simple directions and everything should work!
ok will do, do you suggest downloading it to memory card or internally?
either should work providing you install them both in the same location, although I have only used internally. Also, after installing make sure to change the buffering settings sa linked on the page. I would reccomend playing a few vids and seeing if they are off sync before changing the sync settings though!
Adit, also keep in mind that it will only autoplay if you tell it to, otherwise you have to click play,
thanks, unfortunately when i download the pocket pc tcmcp player, it will not install correctly, because it says "it is not intended for this device" is there a seperate one for a smartphone, the blackjack is not a pocket pc.
thanks
hmmm... I wasn't aware of that. Let me look more into it for you.
Update, found a Smartphone version, added to the getting started page, just refresh it. The FLV plugin should be universal. If not let me know.
mods: Sorry for the double post, just wanted to make sure luv2hum saw I had found an update.
Not to try and rain on your thing here but there's a Hack/Setup that allows you to watch normal youtube videos and yahoo and Veoh videos on your PPC.
Is this any better?
I am well aware of that Hack/Plugin, the reason I made this is because I had 2 problems with that:
1) It has a tendancy to not work on alot of videos unless in wifi mode (I know zbop is working on a fix for that)
2) YouTube's site takes up alot of resources and isn't the easiest thing to use on a smartphone. It's also known to freeze PIE durring loads.
Thats why I made this interface.
Edit: Smartphone link confirmed working with HTC Dash
Now are pocket tube and you tube offering the same videos or are you/we severly limited with Pocket Tube? Also just a question on the streaming video thing. Is it basically like a computer where if you leave it on pause it will eventually buffer the whole video and hence allow smooth playing. I am not in a 3g area so stopping to buffer really sucks.
YouTube Pocket shows identical results as YouTube. The exact same videos in the exact same order. As for the buffering thing, I do not have an answer on that as that is part of TCPMP. I do not think it will buffer, but I may be mistaken, or it may be possiable by tweaking the buffer settings. YouTube Pocket loads the videos in with the same link as zbop's hack, so if you can do it with that you can do it with this.
is it possible to have both of these hacks on the same phone?
Yes, I am running both right now. As a matter of fact, if you have his installed you don't even need to install anything at all from my site, since they both use TCPMP. All you have to do is set 'MMS Protocol' under 'Settings->File Associations' in TCPMP and just search my site.
Wirelessly posted (Palm Treo 750: HTC-8500/1.2 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 6.12))
Works on my Treo 750 running WM6 with no problems. The site looks good and is simple enough to use in PIE. This site is going right into my favorites.
