how long does your battery last?

I just need the phone to get through the end of the day because right now, my razr doesn't even last 30 minutes in my classes.
another question: does having no signal eat up your battery?

I usually spend a good hour on the Web, usually with wifi, and probably 30-40 mins playing music while sending 10-20 text messages in a given day. I'll also have from 5-7 2min conversations on the phone. I'd say my battery usually has about 20% left at the end of the day.

I just charge it up every night and I haven't had a problem yet.

I use my iPhone a LOT. and I've yet to have it turn off because of low battery. I charge my phone every night, and when it hits the charger it usually has about 50% battery left. It's definitely far beyond the RAZR... my mom has one and hers never has battery at the end of the day.

If I just use it as a phone, I can get a few days on a charge. Of course, when you first get it and you play with videos, music, YouTube, web, etc., that soaks up more battery life and you're lucky if you can make it through the day on one charge.

I usually charge mine every other night. It's the best battery I've had out of my last 3 phones.

Per the Stand By menu I go about 4 to 5 days between charges. Typical Usage Time is 3 - 5 hours. (This includes talk time and data transfer.)

use will obviously drive battery life. wifi gobbles power as does bluetooth.

to answer the no-signal question, YES, a low / no signal situation will drain more juice because the phone is working to hit a tower when none is present (easiest way to explain it).

I've been quite pleased with the battery power. I charge mine every 2-3 days. I'm not the heaviest user, but a fair bit of use goes into the Ipod functionality with about 5 sms a day. ~....25 mins of web a day split through the day...a phone call here and there...and after 2 days im at about 50% if not a bit more.

About 1-2 hours of web browsing using wifi, 5-8 hours using the iPod, 2-3 hours talking on the phone.

I charge it everynight but the battery is pretty good in terms of heavy iPhone usage

Yeah, I charge mine every 2-3 days overnight with about 35% battery life left.

And that's with regular use too. Guess I was one of the lucky ones getting a GOOD battery on the first shot.

Battery life is absolutely amazing IMO.

I charge mine every other night, at about 25% left or so. This is with mostly wifi usage with some phone calls and SMS thrown in. About 4-5 hrs of usage between charges.

I charge mine EVERY night since it hits about 10% by the end of the day. My usage is about 5 hours of music. 1-2 hours of web browsing. 1-2 hours of phone usage. About 6 hours of searching for signal since my building is the only dead spot on the entire block
