Talking HTC Kaiser coming to T-Mobile?

According to BGR, the Kaiser could very well be coming to T-Mobile.

We don’t have any word from T-Mobile themeselves on this, but all of the pieces seem to be in place. A recently uncovered FCC filing reveals that HTC and T-Mobile USA might have a trick or two up their sleeves. The FCC was supposed to keep these bad boys under wraps until the 10th of September, at which point they were under instructions to remove them from their site. Oops! The product manual makes clear reference to myFaves, which as of this writing is only available in the good ‘ole USA. On top of that, the user manual clearly references the 1700MHz band that is destined for…T-Mobile USA. The manual also references t-mobile.com, which is the company’s American-specific URL. Anyone else convinced? Keep in mind that this isn’t confirmed by any of the parties involved, but the evidence would certainly suggest that the HTC Kaiser is headed for T-Mobile’s American network. The only question, however, is when?

This would be great news for TMO! Let's hope for some SE phones along with this bad boy, I'll come back if I can get SE on TMO!
CDMA - a great technology, hobbled by greedy carriers and a closed business model. Its a pity, really.

Thank you Sir _ Q. Last time i posted that Boy Genius said Juno was going to be released, a mod closed it down because it was in the wrong sub-forum. That was my first post.

and ONE thing: the 1700 band is for japan (like 1900 in USA), it's NOT AWS!

Yah, and I still don't know why. The post was in regards to a new phone. Yes, it was a WM6 phone but the discussion was over the phone itself and if it was coming to T-Mobile or not. It wasn't directly related to the phone's OS... oh well.

One thing is for sure. If we get an AWS version of the HTC Kaiser that would be quite an accomplishment fot TMO. And things are looking good...

If you're basing that on this:
There is also another discrepancy, it lists 2100mhz under the UMTS/HSDPA bands for the U.S.

It is on the fact that it lists T-Mobile USA throughout the entire manual.

since it's tri-band UMTS, that at&t version has 850/1900/2100 is nothing wrong
and Japan version has "1700", but be careful, you MUST check emobile (eaccess) 1700 band plan, I don't see what is uplink and downlink, but I also don't see it mentions 2100 as downlink, while the 2100 on Japna version is standard "international" 2100
if the band plan (especially uplink) is not 1710-1755, just forget it
