Boost phones are typically cheaper than nextel phones w/o a service agreement therefore unlocking a Boost phone often can save some money if you can get ahold of one.

Boost Mobile is a prepaid cellular phone service that only works in California and Nevada. However you can use the phones made by Boost Mobile and unlock them so that you can use it with your Nextel sim card.
