List of websites you can access ?

I would like to compile a list of websites you can access through
    pre-paid without T-Zones.

All I have is the one mentioned in another active thread:

    1 - wap.4info.net

    Any others ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "pre-paid without T-Zones."

Access to anything "website-wise" is only through T-Zones.

As far as I know the only things you can access through T-Zones is ABC News, CNN, ESPN, "Amusing Info", and 4info.net. You can also access your personal account. You can also access downloads of ringtones, etc.

If it is not on their T-Zones lineup, it is not accessible. There has been quite a few threads about this. T-Mobile prepay is extremely limited. But for the price you pay,(free), it is wonderful. Do you want unlimited internet access? Buy a Sidekick.

i have pre-paid and i can access the above web site on an unlocked and unbranded W910i. Furthermore, my fone hasn't even been configured yet on the T-Mobile network, assuming that matters, by providing them with my new SIM and IMEI numbers. I would never place T-Zones on my fone.

So i was wondering if anyone else knew of other accessible web sites . . .

Just a few I have used:

    http://wireless.go.com/wireless/abcnews/
    http://tmobile.aspiro.com/s/WDispTm?S=menu&F=Main
    http://mobileapp.espn.go.com/wireles...redesign/index

Not sure why you don't want to visit t-zones aka http://wap.myvoicestream.com as it is not loading anything on your phone it is just another wap web site. Clear the cache and it's gone.

    thank you so much.

i even tried myvoicestream and found CNN. Cool.

question --> the only one i did not load was the middle one (tmobile.aspiro. . .).
it appeared to want to download some kind of program.

    what is this program ?

also, how do you locate websites that work under these restrictions ?
i tried a number at random and none worked. for example, google is a
no-go, but i am dying to download a maps program of some kind, preferably
    google maps.

    thanks again.

I'm not sure as I'm using ie7 on a pc teathered to the phone. Some links don't work and try to open some file, the file extension that is the part of the file after the "." three letters should be a clue.

If you don't get an answer I will check a few out when my other PC finishes a long download. That PC with the phone drivers is busy. I've not been able to have more than one internet line open at a time on windows, yes I know you can with linux.

As far as the links the ones I listed above they were just links I had bookmarked guess you could just mouse over them to see the address or bookmark them on the phone and view the bookmarks.

If t-mobile hasn't added a site to their list you will not get it thru their proxy, trick to other sites I think is find a open port and connect thru to your own proxy. Or make yourself look like a paying customer. Problem is if the port and proxy is made public then t-mobile will close it to reduce free traffic. Guess the more people comming in the back door will mean t-moble will lock down the doors. At one time just knowing the proxy address was enough. If you do find a way in please keep it to yourself so as few as possible others that find it can also continue. No I don't know, and no I don't want or need to know.

On IE7 it tried to start a service called "CRtm" maybe Core Root of Trust Measurement ?

I'm not a WAP expert so I don't know much about security or the addons you need but would assume that part of the t-mobile configration would load the correct stuff. If your device is not supported or you don't use the t-mobile configuration then your phone or my PC doesn't know what to do with these files or programs.

On prepaid T-Zones, you can also access traffic.com:

I finally got "4info" and "traffic" bookmarked. I kinda have to guess which items I'm on on TZones as not all are highlighted as I scroll down. I have to get on the web before bookmarks work. I'm guessing I have a slight glitch in my Nok 6030.
I prolly wont use TZones much but I'm glad I finally figgered out how to use it.

    Thanks to all for help.

http://www.phonezoo.com/MyZooWAP.do works as well. It won't do anything until you set up a free phonezoo account first, which you probably have to do from a computer.

    Other tips:
If you want weather but CNN doesn't list anything close to you, go to http://mobile.cnn.com/wthr/xhtml/frc...&zipCode=12345 replacing "12345" with your zipcode.

If you want to view CNN with pictures, use http://mobile.cnn.com/xhtml/en/us/i.html
