    iPhone on a simplicity contract?

is it possible to use an iphone on a o2 simcard only contract? and still have all the features.

as everybody knows the tarrifs for the iphone are way too expensive and you can get better deals on simcard only.
seeing as im paying £270 for the phone anyways could i remove the simcard and pop in an o2 simcard only sim that im getting a better deal on?

and still have visual voicemail etc?

any help would be nice cheers

If I am not mistaken, so long as you are using o2, you will be able to use the simplicity contract on the Iphone because it is locked to O2.

As far as I know, you can use any O2 SIM in your iPhone as long as it's fully activated for use with O2 (ie. a legitimate UK iPhone). You won't be able to take advantage of the selected WiFi hotspots offered to regular iPhone customers for free, but you can get unlimited web usage by selecting it as your "free bolt-on" when registering your Simplicity SIM.

The default free bolt-on is unlimited O2-to-O2 calls. Be aware that unless your Simplicity tariff is more than £20 a month you'll not be able to change this. In such a case you would need to add it on for £7.50 extra a month. I would advise just sticking to their £25+ plans as it would be a lot more economical and would allow you to use the web features of the iPhone without worry.

My iphone is on o2 simplicity. I have the 25 pound per month plan with the 7.50 web bolt on. Everything works perfectly.

guys, I have asked O2 but they said that I can never get an apple iphone on simplicity with them. How to get it? I thought by paying £269 is good enough, right?
