    Sidekick Slide Problem

    Having a problem where well when i slide the keyboard down the thing shuts down....

    anyone know the problem??

    When you say shut down do you mean it turns off? Does it come back on or go off & stay off?

    From what you've said so far it sounds as if it might be a hardware issue...try a soft reset. Or call CC and explain your problem to them...

    Its like when i slide it down, the screen goes black which turns off and restarts itself after

    also i noticed that when i slide it hard it turns off but if i do it lightly it doesn't.

    Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't

    That sounds like it is a hardware issue...you should call Customer Care from a different phone & explain what's wrong & they will prob send you a new device...

    well i am not with T mobile....

    DANT CALL CC THEY JUST MAKE U BUY A NEW ONE.CHECK THE BACK OF THE BATTERY IF U HAVE THE (HW.6.8) THEN T-MOBILE WILL REPLACE IT..IF UR ON A PLAN OR FLEXPAY...BUT IF YOU GOT PREPAID THEN NOPE UR OUT OF LUCK I BEEN USING THE SIDEKICK LIKE DAT..ANYWAYZ IAM LEAVING T MO SOOO.. .DONT CARE...

    THATS THE OLD VERSION OF THE SIDEKICK SLIDE THEY WERE REPORTS THEY WERE BADLY MADE...THEY GOT SUSPENDED AND GAVE PPL 30 DAYS TO GIVE THEM BACK..FOR A NEW ONE...BUT THAT TIME PAST YOU SHOULD TRY TO GO TO THE T-MOBILE STORE TO SEE WHAT THEY SAY...
