    What does this mean?

    I got a txt message 3 of them but it acted as if only one came in and it said " Smart card updated-0058900" what does this mean? thanks

    Its just a notification that your SIM card info has been updated :-)

    There are a number of things that can be updated. They can update the vm number that is programmed in the phone. They can put numbers into your phone book, like Customer Service. Plus other things!

    How about changing the

    lock status of the phone? I'm guessing not, since the changes discussed above are to the SIM only.

    hmm i dont see any new numbers. Could it be because I had something changed on my plan?

    I know they update the roaming partners list when they update the SIM.

    The last time my SIM card got an update was when I called them and told them that I wanted global roamng and a couple other features. Withing minutes of hanging up the phone from CS I got my updates.



    They can't lock your phone from a SIM update AFAIK :-)
