    And actually on T-Mobile you dont have to have a blackberry plan, only an unlimited internet plan. Set one of these up on T-Mobile for a friend of mine last month.

    hey dash every time i click on wap it says please wait then does nothing. it just goes back to the wap,data account, connection management screen. Can you help me with what to do about this so i can continue my internet setup....thanks man

    cect i 9 internet at&t

    Hey dash every time i click wap it says please wait and then returns to the wap, data account, connection management screen....can u please help me with this so i can continue the setup thanks

    oh ya dash it does the same thing with mms. when i click mms to get to mms settings it does the same thing.

    Colby, I have seen this with the phones if you try to configure them without a sim in them.

    MMS
    Select Messages --> MMS --> Message Settings
    Select Server Profile
    Select the first entry
    Select Edit Profile
    Edit Rename Profile to whatever name you would like
    Edit Home Page to http://mmsc.cingular.com
    Edit Data Account to the same data account you created for WAP
    Edit Connection Type to HTTP the IP address is 066.209.011.032 and the port is 8080
    Edit the Username to [email protected] (UPPERCASE)
    Edit the Password to CINGULAR1 (UPPERCASE)
    Select Done or Save
    Make sure to activate the profile and you are good.


    For all of you guys out there that need to setup your internet on the cect I9, using att service.
    hi dude i did everything u said in the directiosn its still giving me problems it says connection failed can you please help me out i just baught my phone and trying to connect it but i think they changed some information because its now known as at&t. no longer cingular.

    i have service through at&t.. not t mobile.. how do i get my internet and multimedia messages to work with my carrier when everytime i call at&t they tell me that they have no idea what the settings should be because they dont sell the i9

    is there anyone out there that has another suggestion for getting the i9 phone to connect to the internet and send multimedia messages with at&t service.. i have done the settings just like dashd said to but it still wont work.. pleeeeease help if you can

    Am considering an Unlocked I9

    I have chance to get an unlocked I9. I have T-Mobile. Use my phone as a modem. Do you forsee any problems? Any TMO User experiences on this?

    Question connect to home wireless network?

    Is there any way of connecting this phone to the home wireless network?
    If not is there any software(e.g.in softpedia or elsewhere) that makes this happen?
    Please Help....
